I just picked up my 2017 with the new Radio (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto). I don't think it has an sd card slot anymore. Inside the center console there's just two usb outlets and the audio jack port. I've never had an older Challenger, but my Ram has the SD card next to the ports. Am I missing something? By the way the screen resolution is much better and the swipe and pinch feature is nice. I used Android Auto for the first time today. It's easy, plug and play, but the interface could be designed better. I'll post a you tube video this weekend. Feel free to ask any 2017 questions here and I'll try to include shots in the video too.

On my build sheet for my 2017 I didn't see the SD card reader. It was on my 2015 build sheet. Congrats on the new acquisition. I should have mine in the next 2 days.

I would like to see the SRT on the steering wheel light up in a night shot, hopefully you have dimming capability to.

Actually, I agree. Sorry to hijack your thread but a photo of the steering wheel would be appreciated. Nobody has yet to post one.

Ask anything. No hijacking worries ever here. I work nights, but will try to get a video of the wheel logo up tonight.

That sucks if they dropped the SD Card. Is there an internal hard drive in the dash like the older Mopars?

The SD card is right beside the USB and AUX ports. (Well, it used to be there anyway, my guess is that it's gone, which sucks, I use mine all the time...)

Yep it's gone.

It looks like with the Android Auto and Apple car play all the storage stuff is gone. The only option now is plugging something into the two USB ports.
