This is the dorward base of the passenger side seat track view drom the interior floor. Want to instal a fire extinguisher bracket. What kind of fastener is this. Do the 2 adjacent caps just slide out?

One of the smaller ones works on the exhaust header studs. Ask me how I know...............

I thought that I just used a 12-point socket. I mounted mine on the rear hump so I could reach it while strapped in.........I just went and checked and I did use a 12-point, 3/8" socket.

12 point sockets will work in a pinch. But they are not the correct tool and could round off the head. I used a 5/16 12 pt socket on the header studs once as well. But if they are frozen you might not get them out with a 12 point. Just sayin........
