I'm looking to see if maybe someone has had a similar issue. Trans build didn't fix it, tune didn't fix it. Last year I was having an issue with my car shifting from 2-3. When at low rpms the shift would happen but very delayed. At wot, the car hits the limiter and goes limp (while using paddles or running in auto, that didn't change anything). We sent the trans in, had it built and shipped back, then re-tuned the tcm and pcm. Ran the car with the built trans at the track and same problem. I pulled data from quite a few passes and the tuner made some adjustments and nothing changed. We did find out however, if I hit the paddle to put the car in second when staging, it will shift fine whether I use the paddles or let it stay in auto. If I try to make a pass from 1st, no dice, same problem as before. The trans commands 3rd several times before going limp. when street driving, the car commands several times before finally shifting. Only other issue I've ever had is the gauges on the performance pages haven't worked since the pcm was unlocked. But the gauges for the same info still work in the cluster. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Another question, are you running a race Tune all the time?

For instance I have a Daily driving Tune and one for the track.

A Drag Tune would have quick shifts for the track because of the amount of throttle you are giving it.
If you are Daily Driving a Drag Tune maybe that is why you have slow 2-3 shifts at low throttle.
