Made it sound like it's even possible that the LX line might actually continue past 2024, possibly just moved to a different plant--or even stay at Brampton depending on how union contract negotiations go.

I have hope. The Stellantis CEO just spoke to the Financial Times Future of the Car 2022 conference. He issued warnings to the Politicians and auto industry about batteries and the EV market. He joined Toyota and BMW concerns about the future of the EV. Both of those companies are not abandoning the ICE any time soon. BMW is actually doing R&D on ICE engines.
