I have got an order in, in Freehold, New Jersey 10-10-14. I am 2 of 2 of their allocation, got the Build sheet and a VON number. Lime Green with Nav, black hood, they claim no more Sepia Leather is available. Anyone seen the Standard Premium Leather? I hope I won't be disappointed. This should be an upgrade from my 1971 Cuda with a 528 Hemi 5 Speed with 600 HP 600 ft/lbs of Torque. I couldn't imagine if this car can actually get traction. Great to be on the site with you all

This is exactly what happened with me! I was #5 or 6 on this list at Woodhouse and all the people ahead of me wanted options that were not available right away. My salesman called me up(and understand he has a little bit of a southern accent) and told me this. I made him repeat it a few times to make sure I heard him right.

Hey welcome Russ Baskin, congratulations on your position above the other orders at your dealership. Nice CUDA you got . I saw the premium leather in a scat pack 2015 6.4L challenger at the dealership its suede mixed leather type.

My dealer said on a car of this caliber there shouldn't even be an option on the interior !!!
It should be Laguna only and the customer just decides on the color wanted !! I tend to agree

The SRT 392 has the same seats. I drove one yesterday and the seats were comfy as heck! It had the suede insert. If your dealer has one of those, you can check out the seats. I thought they were really nice, but I'm not that picky, I am all about the engine and supercharger!

Some people dont like the suede look, but everyone likes leather. Just offer a plain leather of like 3 different colors and be done with it. Maybe they figure your ass will stay planted during cornering with the suede. To me the plain leather works fine when you are shoved straight back into the seat!!

Yep, that would have worked and been easy. I like the suede cause I don't slide around as much and, you are right, not everyone does and there should be more choices available.

My dealer told me yesterday that there is Iike a buttload of people waiting for my Hellbaby to get there. I was like, don't let anyone put their butt in the seat! critical stuff here!

Tammie, since you have seen the standard seats. Is the suede really leather? Or is it some kind of fake suede leather or cloth? They call it Alcantara inserts so it was leading me to believe that it is not real suede leather.

I enjoy tis forum also, the only thing is we feed on each others anxiety with regard to their orders. I think that some of us feel that once eveyone starts taking their orders and have their Hellcats, they will leave this forum.

Thanks, that's what I was afraid of. This suede stuff is ok but it does not hold up well with age and it spots really easy if anything wet gets on it. Real hard to keep clean because every little speck of anything wants to stick to it. I really didn't want suede but if it's suede or no cat at all I will live with it. Thought about just having the seats redone with leather inserts myself. Maybe go and rustle one of Tammie's Laguna cows!
