Header says it all. I bought a Tesla Plaid as a daily. I have a 1,300hp Hellcat with a built motor and Whipple currently, but let me tell everyone, the Plaid is dumb fast.

Plaid is pretty quick, raced a nice Camaro ZL1 making 1,000hp and got passed by maybe 1/4 car at 130mph.

I just wish it looked good. I couldnt drop that much on something that I dont like to look at, dont care how fast. I respect it but wouldnt want one. Theyre ridiculous though.

Yeah those cars are just so blah. For that kinda money should look a lot more sporty.

Here come the anti EVers....

Nah, just wish they looked better. Theyre just so invisible. Love the performance.

Tesla also has one of the worst initial quality ratings of any manufacturer as well, so there's that.

Oh I agree completely. Wasn't referring to you though, but the ones that will undoubtedly show and turn this thread into a dumpster fire lol.

The brake calipers seem small for a car with that much speed potential, How do they perform in the real world?
Clearly this isn't an EV forum, but it is sad that so many of the muscle car folks have an allergic reaction whenever EVs come up. Kind of tarnishes our brand a bit as a bunch of luddites.

Any car with that kind of acceleration has some objective cool factor. Congratulations on your Plaid purchase @18Hellcat1 hope you get some real kicks!

That’s cool , I like the Diversity of having a gas and electric car. However I don’t want to see ICE discontinued. I would like the freedom to be able to choose gas or electric and not be forced to buy electric.

Its cool but has no soul. There's no skill no nothing to just go to the track, getting your 9.4[email protected] then going to startbucks to get you and your partner lattes. Its just blah.

Man the hate lol, true EV haters strong haha. No for real though, I will never sell my Hellcat, we are about to put on a Twin Turbo Hellion setup on it and rule the streets here locally.

The Plaid however, is insane, truly a marvel of science how it can deliver the power. Sure it looks like a normal sedan, but think about it, never an oil change, no more gas stations, how many cars make 1,100whp and can say that. I love it so far honestly, the simplicity is what I like, when I go to Mexico nights no one suspects a thing.

For a car that can run a consistant 9.2 it earns the street respect.

Harley Fat Bob
and a collection of dirtbikes for me and sons

So any given day I can pick what I am in the mood for

Congratulations on the Plaid and No doubt that it deserves Respect! EV or not, those can perform!

I don't hate or even dislike EV's! I like most of them but think that they have their place and believe that the manufacturers that are going 100% electric are going to regret it. Not everyone wants an EV!

By the way, with that stable, are you adopting? I'm good at washing cars and an even better chauffeur! :D
