Didn't think they still used a 17" spare. All the later Challenger and Charger use 18" spares far as I know. The 18" will fit the rear on Brembo cars. The 17" I don't know but would guess not.

I have a factory slingshot brass monkey wheel with tire if interested. 20x9.5 OEM in excellent condition.
And there you go. Your spare tire worries are now over. I bought ferrada wheels for mine but I have kept the original hellcat wheels so that when I go long distance I just throw one of them in the trunk good to go.

I have an unused modernspare I bought for my 2019 Redeye. I traded the Redeye in for a Trackhawk a couple months ago. I’d sell the modernspare at this point. In fact, I never opened the box it was shipped in. It worked perfectly…as soon as I had a spare tire, I never had a flat! My original motivation for getting the spare happed when I ran over something on the highway that ripped a big hole in a tire. I went from no problems to completely flat, 0 PSI in about ten seconds. Fortunately, the flat was on the rear and I had a set of Demon wheels with 325/45-18 Hoosiers mounted on them at home to use as a spare.
If you have any interest in the modernspare that can be used front or rear, the jack, lug wrench and hold down for securing in the trunk spare tire well, I’m willing to sell it. How does $300 sound? Please see the post in the Wheels and Tires for sale section.

So totally off topic, but since they are releasing a spare tire specifically for the 2021's with the bigger brakes, I wonder if the wheels alone could be used as front runners in conjunction with a pair of race skinnies as a stop gap to there not being any specific drag skinnies for the 2021 cars with 6 pot brakes.

The M&H front drag tires are 28x4.5-18's (165/85-18) and have a recommended wheel with of 4"
The spare wheel is 4" in width. The limiting factor is that it looks like you need to run the supplied spacer to install the wheels on the front.
The wheel and tire is under $350 and an M&H drag skinny is is about $260 a pop, so for about $1200 and change there might be a viable front wheel setup.

Who’s releasing this spare tire? And where can I buy one?

But do I need it, Slidd? Or will the original 18” spare fit over the WB brakes? I can always do a dual swap if I have to right? I just asked about this on a super old thread over on the other forums too.
You would have to do a double swap, the factory 18" spare will fit on rear only.

And how the hell is a 19 inch wheel going to fit in the trunk? I remember the 18 being a tight sweet when I installed it in my SP.
I haven't seen them post a tire size so it's still possible it will still fit, assume the 19-inch wheel is for caliper clearance only and the overall diameter might still be the same.
