Have any of you had an issue's with bad or blown speakers? I have the HK system and my wife brought the car home yesterday and told me about a rattle in the car. Turns out the left rear speaker is blown. Took to the local dealer and they've ordered a new one(here comes the wait)no questions asked. Just curious to see if this is a one time thing or if it might be an issue.

Yep...pretty common especially for the left rear in Chargers. Check the threads for HK stereo sounds awful. I seem to recall at least 6 that had the same issue...on this forum alone.

I have on in my Challenger that has gone bad. And of course it is the one on the driver side rear 1/4 panel basically right behind my left ear.

I have one orderd but looks like they are on back order. Hopefully they just have a bad batch floating around and this is only a one time thing after I replace it.

I have the same problem with the same speaker. Drivers side rear under the quarter window in the side panel. Did you get yours fixe? how? A new speaker didnt do squat.

H K Amp Wired Wrong TSB SRT Hellcat Forum
This TSB is for a Charger not a Challenger.

I have the same drivers side rear speaker blown out. The earliest appointment I could get at my dealer is September 9th. There is something seriously wrong with these systems. I'm convinced that the wrong frequencies are bring sent to the wrong speakers.

I'm glad this car is not my daily driver because I would be driving wearing ear buds if it was. At this point I don't even use the radio when it's a nice day and I decide to drive it.
