For those that have used the Speedlogix active exhaust valve delete
( Active Exhaust Valve Deletes ).

Have you had any problems with them? Any codes from them? How do you like them?

Planning ahead for when my redeye gets here. These look way easier than the mfer1 if they work good.
Look much easier than the khaos motorsports system I used on my redeye. Gonna have to try these on the Super Stock.

Valves should be wide open after shutoff (if I remember correctly). With no holding current on the motor, I’m guessing the valves could move? There is a spring between the motor and valve, it’s possible there’s enough pressure there to prevent it from moving? Otherwise, one could remove the motor and lock the valve with some cheap ingenuity. No need for an mfer1 to lock it.

That's what I thought too, but basically you're hoping/relying on the little spring to hold them open?

Also, just devil's advocate, you're spending more (@$189) than a MFER1 or Khaos delete kit and you know with those that it's locked down/not moving anymore.....just sayin'

True. But the motor’s are still moving with the lock kits, correct? It’s just rotating on the flat plates, disengaged from the valve. With the plug bypass, you eliminate power to the motor and stop forcing it to rotate. Possibly saving it unnecessary wear and premature failure. I’m not sure how much more strain there is when rotating against the lock plates?

I agree...I like that concept too (no more moving parts).....I'm just wondering how well or long the motors/springs could hold the valves open all the way securely?
if that makes sense

This includes the parts for both valves correct?
Picture just has one set, but the description keeps mentioning “valves”. Just wanting to make sure
Correct. One plug has the circuitry and one plug is just a blank for the other valve. It doesn't matter which valve you put the one with the circuitry in as the electronics disable both valves.

I run the ZAutomotive....you can also save all your money and remove the actuators, wire the valve open, leave the springs off and put the actuators back in .... no issues, no check engine lights and no issue with active exhaust closing the valves

Considered these but I’m not sure I need em, I have zero complaints about the exhaust note on the super stock..cold start sounds good, hot start sounds good, and you know, the open throat..possibly in the future though

I thought this would give you codes in a 2015 due to the actuator not stopping at the proper limits(where the valve would stop when open and close)
