So, in reading on the hellcat sections it sounds like there have been several issues with the cars. Most seem minor but there's a pretty extensive list of TSBs.

Knowing the cars are very similar, are these same issues popping up on the 392s as well?

I tried searching but there is so much noise regarding the hellcats it's harder to find pure info on the 392. Would like to hear from anyone that's had problems or heard of any consistent issues to watch out for.

HC engine is based on the 392, but is like 90% new

id assume your whole 392 power train is basically the same since 2011 with a 15hp extra tune and a A8 added

i would think the 392 would be rock solid by this point

the 392 has been running since 2011. It's as solid as it's going to be. You'll run into odd issues such as Misterdhdt did above, but that's few and far between and happens with any brand.

Don't worry, enjoy the 392.

That's good to hear.

I know the engine has been around for a while but with the new transmission, performance pages, adjustable suspension, etc I figured there could possibly still be some transferable bugs.

I take delivery in a few weeks so reading all the stuff on the hellcats had me a little concerned but good to hear there are no consistent, well known issues.

Other than the HK of course. Hopefully they will have that worked out soon.

Replaced radiator at 1145 miles. So far nothing else has been wrong.
That is helpful. There have been a handful of radiator replacements on the Hellcat. Speculation as to manufacturing defect, bad pressure cap or possibly blown head gaskets.

If SRT392 is having the issue too it's probably manufacturing defect in radiator or pressure cap issue. Does the SRT392 also run a 21PSI cap on the cooling system (it's stamped on the cap).

Since the arrival of my CHarger 392 in September I have a constant issue where the upshift paddle sometimes causes an undesired downshift. Dealer has replaced the steering module (did not fix the issue) and is now planning on changing the wiring harness and paddles.
