Well my sales rep has the same ship date of 10/28/2014 even before the previous ship date of 10/16/14. Let's hope they ship it all before Halloween.According to SRT my car is slated to ship on October 28. I would assume all of the hellcats will be leaving Ontario on October 28.

They should ship the first ones on HELL NIGHTWell my sales rep has the same ship date of 10/28/2014 even before the previous ship date of 10/16/14. Let's hope they ship it all before Halloween.
So I just got another update from my sales rep directly he checked his system and it looks like he got the word from the facilities that they are doing a second and third check quality-control to make sure these first production are perfect before they are released. He said it should be here in a few weeks which is probably sometime early or mid November.
That happened to me on the 'Bee delivery. To all of you who wonder if colors are available, go to OntarioStreetCar.com and peruse the photos of all the cars in waiting. Production line is shut down to change over to Charger production------Oct 20 to Oct 27. Hopefully our cars in waiting can once again be traveling down the line.So I just got another update from my sales rep directly he checked his system and it looks like he got the word from the facilities that they are doing a second and third check quality-control to make sure these first production are perfect before they are released. I just looked and my ship date has changed today from 10/16 to 11/04 even though the car has been built since the 16th. Looks like they're shipping them all at once.Just spoke with SRT, they said hundreds of hellcats are still sitting in storage awaiting rail line shipment which is backed up with other commodities at this time.
I texted my sales rep to see if he can see any other updates on his system and if I could even hire a professional enclosed truck transport to pickup and deliver my hellcat personally.
Thanks for the info and share. We have some of those pics from that site shared by RoadwarriorCA on another thread. It makes us drool. That happened to me on the 'Bee delivery. Thanks for sharing the update. This matches what my sales rep said. We are expecting all the JS status hellcats to ship end of and first week of November to make its way to the dealerships.I just looked and my ship date has changed today from 10/16 to 11/04 even though the car has been built since the 16th. This is the truth!at this point, the only way we will be certain we are getting the car is when you physically see it at the dealer!!! all other he say, she say is bs.
Thanks William very informative!I work for the Burlington northern santa fe, BNSF. I can say this much with extreme confidence. its nearing the end of the year for rail roads with the Christmas rush approaching. the order of priority for revenue train go like this. trains that carry ups and us mail, are the hottest trains on the rail second to only amtrack. and there is a new player in town getting a lot of bnsf business. the shipping of shale oil from the bakken. very high priority high revenue train. they rank number 2 right now. the shipping of grain, which I bielive the us congress intervened, because grain farmers were complaining about the lack of rail commitment from all railroads, have moved up in priority because of congress. they probably rank ahead of automotive shipping due to this intervention. automotive shipping is a very lucrative and important part of the BNSF business. shipping by rail is the most economical way. for auto makers its the standard method for shipping across the country. there is an order to all the chaos. BNSF has been experiencing growing pains for quite some time. we have more business than we have locomotives and qualified employees to run trains. BNSF is not alone in this. all class 1 railroads are in the same situation. trains are continuously falling behind schedule. this is nothing new. just a long winded answer. in short, be patient. you got your vin, your car is built, your way head of many others. your cars are on the way. there coming soon!!!
Yeah SRT always says they don't have any other info.I just talked to srt,, car is built and in storage,, waiting on a train,,I ask him, why on earth would they put it on a train to take it from Ontario to Detroit. It makes no sense. Why not truck it,I think it's just stupid,I have to wait a couple more weeks for a train,, there not making good decision,, the dealers that are close enough to truck cars to,, then truck then already..it's not like we live in the south where we have a bunch of nice weather left to enjoy our cars,, there is maybe a dozen days left of this year to enjoy them in Michigan at least.....then to storage again...
Dam those grains and coal, who needs those resources, hellcats first so we can starve a bit longer LOLThe NPR story I heard on the radio about Canada Rail being backed up wasn't too settling. It was somewhat common but this year was looking exceptionally bad for delays demand is so high.
Had to do with grain, coal etc..
Never know they may be pooling like they do so to ship at one time but all bets are off and fingers crossed for those just off the line!
