He says he isn't aware of any hellcats being released from Taylor Yard in Michigan, he only is aware of some hellcats being moved from Brampton, Ontario Canada to the Taylor Yard.

My hellcat has no shipment date still.

He said he isn't aware of anything released as of 11/04/14 and said probably in a few more weeks they will ship to the dealerships.

Now I'm wondering if Smitty can provide any more updates since today isn't the magical day.

I'm still in JS, and no longer have any expected ship date. All Tiffany could say was that they are supposed to ship by the end of the year. I have had four ship dates come and go and no car.
Now they are giving themselves until the end of the year. We may not even have cars until January. I am about out of patience. I just want someone in authority at Dodge to provide some true and accurate information as it relates to delivery dates of our cars.

I totally understand your frustration. A little info on why would go a long way. I am not giving up on fighting for my Hellcat, I just hope it comes before I run out of weapons! LOL

Makes a guy wonder what's up Hope there isn't a problem with the EPA or something like that. I read somewhere that the original Hellcat engine had trouble meeting emission standards but that was supposed to have been addressed. Oh well .....

I think this is something outta their control. I feel like the only one who knows are high level execs. unfortunately, it must be something they cannot share with us minions and I think Smitty probably feels the same way. He was probably told they were shipping and then something happened. Just guessing. But it is the only thing that makes sense.

I've been waiting with a VON in BX since July 24th . That's right, my 4th month of internet rumours and No Info at all from dodge.
While I sympathize with all of you waiting for your cars to be shipped I'm really sick of this lack of info from Dodge.
I was promised spring delivery when I ordered but had no idea I would be waiting without any clue til spring.
The allocation process was brought in After my order, after my trade in.....

I shouldn't have wonder four months later if and when.....

Sorry for the rant but if I don't hear something positive soon for someone ....... Anyone

Sorry that they took your trade. We wanted to leave our 392 with the dealer but they refused to take it until the new car comes in.

I really hope you see a vin soon. That is a long time. My dealer wouldn't even let me order that early or take any deposits. Are you the first allocation for your dealer? Sorry, you probably already told me that, but I don't remember. If I would have been told spring, it would have helped me to be more patient. I am sure they will have the process streamlined and your Hellcat will run smoothly by then. I really think they are trying to get Hellcats out. It just sucks that the regular masses can't have one when all the celebs and writers are getting to drive them.

I think for me living in the great state of Wisconsin I just want the car. I know I will not be able to use the power until spring, but I just want the feeling of knowing I have it and it will be there for me in the spring. If I do not get it until January so be it.

The orders were placed on 9/9 ( the first day ) so it has not been two months yet. It is normal to expect 8 weeks for delivery Sunday would be the day, So lets see what happens early next week.
But I doubt there are any problems.


If you placed an order with the dealer prior to 9/9 that does not count because the first order date was 9/9. I was told that some very early orders on 9/9 were kicked out of the system because the dealers did not following the directions with the sunroof option, so any sunroof car ordered in the AM of 9/9 was kicked back out a day or two later only to be reordered and now at the back of the line.

There is confusion with dealers taking orders for cars that exceed their allocations. This is a concern because I believe there are people out there who will not get a car this year. So I hope you had confirmation from your dealer that they were allocated a car before they took your deposit or trade. The dealer can place the order but if they have not earned their allocation the order will sit idle until they have met the requirements to receive one. There is evidence of several out there who have VON numbers but no VIN
They are not limiting the number of cars but they are controlling it thru the system of allocation. I believe they must ( as manufacturers ) meet a CAFE standard for fuel economy. It is an average MPG for all the cars sold, so they just can't sell all V-8s they need a balance to bring up the average MPG.

Order banks opened July 23rd Canada. I ordered my car the following day the 24th. On my purchase agreement I have in writing that my trade was subject to hellcat avaliability.
So the agreement was I would take my truck home and wait....
August 8th I received a phone from dealer saying my order had been approved please bring in my trade ASAP.
That night they got my truck and I received my VON#

I was number 7 inline at the dealer at the time.
Remember there was no allocation rules at this point.
I had a hand shake and a VON from a very reputable dealer who has been in business for 75yrs selling dodge products.

Then the allocation announcement came out and I contacted my dealer. They said that 1 car ahead of me had been scheduled for production , so I assumed that was there allotment

They continue to tell me not too worry I will get my car come spring but the complete lack of info from dodge combined with the daily internet rumours especially regarding the allocation nonsense are driving me nuts.
My trade was valued at $34K , that's no small deposit ......

Yet four months later I'm still going on my dealers word and handshake....

A simple phone call to say Congrats on getting in line for a hellcat would put ALL my fears to rest!! I don't want to be the first guy on the block with the car, I would just like to know AFTER FOUR MONTHS if I accually bought one?????

I'm not sure how they can take a trade in on a car they don't have,,, unless you out right sold them your truck,, and used it as a down payment
