Some care about the warranty that comes with these kits. I see it as power kits that’ve been tested by the factory to ensure reliability and safety of the powertrain.
The parts themselves come with their own 2 year mopar parts warranty.
They've also been tested by countless forum members--they're just reselling off-the-shelf parts. A litens pulley, a diablo tuner, an off-the-shelf air filter and 180 t-stat.

For me, it comes down to resell of the car. An "aftermarket" pulley and tune with a P1400 code, I feel, will be much harder to sell than a car with a Dodge Branded Pulley and Tune. I'm willing to sacrifice some HP (as the aftermarket tunes are probably much better) and some cash (the Dodge kit is more $$$) to hopefully not limit my audience as much down the road if the day comes that I need to sell my car. I don't plan to but I also don't want to make it harder than it needs to be, or take a $$$ hit on it, by having mods on the car that can scare buyers off.

Big one for me is if the car still will show the P1400 code. Speaking with our local Power Broker they were thinking not but were not positive. The code is my deal breaker as it shows that code then most of the above is off the table as buyers will not know if the car was demodded or not.

For what it’s worth, my message and the reply I just got:

Hello,

I have a 2021 Charger Redeye and was wondering if there are soon to be any updates on the DC stage kits. I realize you cannot release privileged information to a random person emailing you, but some sort of encouraging general information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

DC:
Hello,

We’re not there yet. I believe we are getting closer though. There is some internal movement that is a good clue that a launch could be near. Fingers crossed.

Yeah, didn't think the state kits voided an extended warranty
I spent many days chasing contacts with Mopar and Direct Connect to finally get a definitive answer--which I finally did. Installing any stage kit will absolutely void any Mopar extended warranty. The only warranty that is preserved with a stage kit is the original factory warranty.
Which fact really takes a lot of wind out of the DC sails...

By the time the kits are released, Dodge will only have to warranty 2021 and newer.

I keep holding out for the stage kits, but man this is getting ridiculous.
Don't forget 5 year/60,000 powertrain warranty, which is the most important one. Almost all Redeyes and many Hellcats will still be under that. That's where the biggest financial risk is.

Listen, they already are winding down parts production and jacking up prices. Only keeping stock that’s required by law for warranty. Sad end to a great generation of cars
And a sad end to dodge.
Agreed. Great generation indeed. I have had the pleasure of owning only 2. A 17 Challenger HC and a 22 Challenger HC RE.(current car) I'm humbled to be part of it as this is truly the end of the Greatest American muscle car.

"Hi Ron,
Thank you for your inquiry. The Stage Kits you’re looking for haven’t been released yet, as they are still pending CARB certification approval. Unfortunately, we don’t have an updated timeline for their availability just yet.

I’ll get you on the appropriate list so that as soon as Stage Kits for your Challenger Redeye become available I can contact you directly.

Thank you,
Sarah

Just got this tonight, don't hold your breath, and ban the troll 🤣🤣🤣
They will never comply with CARB. I don’t understand why they don’t release for the normal states.

There are 15 states that use CARB. The rest are sane and willing to allow these parts. They already list parts in the catalog that are race/off-road only. Makes no sense that they would wait--at least not for the excuse given.
