As of yesterday Dodge still hasn’t fixed this. Dealership checks daily and was told by there field rep it’s an error in VOIM…..Vehicle Order Information Manual…… and hopefully it would be fixed shortly. Seriously??? Yet there jumping up and down about this JAILBREAK BULLSHIT? I can only imagine what a mess that will be. This is the same platform and same interior seating surfaces since what, 2011??? Can Dodge get there head out of there a** and get thee IT department to fix this? Are we going to blame stupidity on COVID also??? Dodge Cares care to chime in on this??? I’m guessing not.

You people and your 2022 orders need to chill. You see what 2021 orders are like, 2022 isn't going to be any better.

There are a few months left in sorting out 2021 orders. Your 2022 orders aren't a priority right now, they're simply planning for parts right now.

Very possible they have no info on leather seat quantities available at this time for builds past what they ordered for the 2021s.

I saw the alcantara /Napa interior and it looks good in my opinion. I’ll go with that and save myself $1795 I guess. I’ll put the money I saved towards the stage 2 upgrade and install. Win win.

If those scenarios were the case I’d be fine with that. I was told though it’s a glitch in the main frame of the ordering system. Absolutely nothing to do with 2021 cars being built or some leather shortages.

I get it you're angry because you can't get what you want right now.

First up, that "Jailbreak bullshit" is interesting to people who aren't you.

Second, even if your language wasn't off-base, your point is. The ability for one department of a company to advertise and produce a product has no bearing on another department dealing with an issue. Your logic is on par with "well, if the grocery store can find the time to fix the dead light bulb in their sign out side, who can't they find the time to make it so I don't have to wait so long at the deli counter?"

Third, with regards to the IT issue, you don't know the cause, so it's not your place to decide how simple it should be to fix. Is it a glitch? Is it a deliberate choice? Is it a database issue where a ordering system was designed 20 years ago and has room for 32,768 different models and they've hit that limit and need to completely redesign it, and a hundred other bits of software that interact with it? Is it that there's one part required for your model that they know won't be available for six months? You don't know. To assert it's stupidity is again, being harsh.

So, friend, being frustrated is completely reasonable. Asking for help is completely reasonable. But the rest is just... not. Chillax. You'll enjoy life a lot more.
