Hey guys, wondering if there’s any feedback about “expedited shipping?” My hellcat has been sitting in the vendor lot since December, waiting for the hood to be painted black. The vendor has marked it as completed and waiting to ship since the beginning of December, but my dealership reached out; and found out it’s not painted; they’ve been waiting for the factory to reopen to get more cars, and paint them all at once. So…my car has been sitting. And waiting to “ship”.

The car had not shipped, but was supposed to arrive 01/31, and when it had not shipped; my dealer called the vendor again, getting the same response. The dealership said the vehicle will be getting expedited shipping because of the delay…anyone know how good expedited shipping is? Otherwise I’m planning on another 2 month wait when the vendor actually finishes it…..

When my 21 HC WB was 'ready to ship', it actually went to the upfitter. My dealer is probably 15 minutes from the Brampton pant! It was back at the shipping yard after a week. The day it arrived at the shipping yard, my dealer tried to retrieve the car. Not a chance! Sat in the shipper's yard for a week. (protocols I guess??). My sales manager had to literally call them and demand the car be released!. It was at the dealer two hours later...took it home the next day!

There's nothing you can do, except wait....geez

Shipping isn't usually a large part of the time between order and the time of delivery. Expedited or not, it's not going to do anything significant to your delivery date. The factory issues are the big factor, and there isn't anything to do about that. You could still be a couple months before the car ships and at that point if it takes one week or two weeks to get to you is almost a rounding error.

Easy 6-7 weeks for my 22 Charger Redeye .Sat in Maryland for 3 weeks with the dealer one state away in Virginia! Picked up 3 weeks ago.
