Hey all,

Just curious, has anyone seen dyno numbers on a stock Hellcat (non-RE) vs a stock Redeye on the same dyno? Was talking with somebody that said he had and they the gap isn't quite 80-90 hp difference. The gap was more like 50 - 60 hp. Just curious, that's all (not trying to start any arguments here). Looking for facts, meaning that you've seen the numbers vs conjecture... Thanks in advance!

If the difference was 60hp to the ground, that could be approx. 75hp at the crank. 717+75=792....that's within spitting distance of the factory claim and given differences with dynos I'd say it sounds about right.

I have 1st hand experience with my 2018 stock 6MT Hellcat vs. my buddys 2019 stock A8 Redeye doing freeway pulls. From a 50 to 120mph pull we were dead even other than that I was drafting behind the Redeye. If we were side by side I imagine the Redeye would be edging forward. It was a closer match up than either one of us expected and I was accused of being modded afterwards.

I was discussing this with a local tuner.
My stock cat runs pretty much within .2 or so of a stock RE with either gear.
The tuner was saying he sees maybe 40hp difference and that was being generous to the RE.
Same day a 3.09 RE ran a best of 10.22 with a worst of 10.39. It was cold and traction was best earlier on when the 10.22 pass was made. He did 5 passes and went home.
My cat ran 10.42/10.43 all day in 7 or 8 passes. I would have to go back to look at the slips to be sure how many.
Basically what does it take to gain the .2 difference?

On a fairly hot and humid day (~80°, ~80% humidity) yesterday and some supercharger heat soak, we dynojet dyno'd my 2019 Challenger Hellcat and it was at 662whp/650wtq. Hitting about 11.3 psi with a DA of ~800. On the street I see 12 psi on a 70° day with less humidity.
