I couldn't take the lack of bass so changed the sub-woofer out yesterday. I will power it with a separate amp and it worked fantastic in my Scat Pack. I've heard about the two-way speakers but this is what I found.

So you are swapping out shallow subs in trunk? If so plz let me know how it goes. I've considered this. I really am curious if one could simply swap them out with x2 shallow
10" subs or if they really need a new amp.

It's a Charger, so it's in the rear deck. I did this on my 392 also and love the sound! Obviously, they assembled this w/o the rear window installed too. I had to destroy the speaker housing to get it out.

Wow... those are the HK speakers? Those look like cheap Autozone speakers That's one baby magnet...
