Street in the suspension setting
Sport in traction setting
Track in the trans setting. I use Sport trans setting when the track isn't the best if needed

Why not

Why not traction control off completely?
When you are down track and are the one who finds out someone is leaking anti freeze or whatever, then the stability control is appreciated.

I am that one person that does turn off traction control by pushing the SRT button until a bell sound is heard or see it on my dash. But I do use Sport Mode for Traction.

I always turn off the traction control with the button. I don't know if that turns off the other stability control stuff or not. Either way the car is WAY more stable down track than my Chevelle was with drag springs/shocks on the front and no front sway bar.

Traction control and stability control are two different functions/switches, right?

I run suspension in street at the track, but I turn off traction control with the button, since every time right after I use my tazer linelock, the traction control is turned back on again.

Yes, 2 different functions

I believe tc is completely turned off when you hold the button til esc is off regardless of what setting Uconnect displays

Cuz if not my car wouldn’t let me do a burnout, would it?

Might be different for the later models, especially the trims that came stock with a line lock

Mine is a '16 and Sport traction mode turns off traction control. Burnouts aren't an issue.
I tend to not be aggressive on my burnout so if it was doing something I would know.
I will NEVER turn everything off. While not going to save the car on its own, the stability control will slow the drama down a bit and make it easier to recover if something goes awry during a run.
Having the car suddenly try to go sideways at half track due to something on the track will make one happy they left the Stability control on.

For those that say it will slow you down by not turning it off. Please tell me how much quicker my car would be if I turned everything off.
I have tried on a few occasions and found no difference.🤔
