Shows like this are the reason there are so many assholes on the road these days doing the same thing.

Had one 18 year old twat in a hellcat, street racing on the wrong side of 2 lane road in New Castle De, broadside and kill a mom and her 3 little kids a couple of months ago.

I have also been pulled over 3 x this summer for what other knobjobs are doing around car shows. The TorRed Hellcat gets picked out and I get shit for what others are doing on the premise of “we got complaints” No tix though.
These fuktard drivers will ruin it for us all.

I haven't even got mine yet and I'm tired of the azzholes. They where just on the news here shutting down multiple intersections on the same night with their drifting and donuts!! Idiots also filmed it all and put it all over FB so they're tracking them down. This time they we're mostly camaros and mustangs and a few ricers but I did see one charger in the video.

Running a Pro Mod on the street is stupid

In the 60's a 14 sec car was a hot rod, now it's a moms shuttle van for the kids. The late 60's and early 70's were the cumulation of the hot rod era, the cars they were racing in the 30's and 40's were no where near as powerful. The 60's are when Drag racing started to become a pretty big sporting event and the funny cars began to show up and the engines started to become 5K & 10K HP behemoths. Most street racers topped out around 150-160 and did 0-60 in over 5 sec (just guessing but seems to be about right). The top end mass production cars by the end of the 60's were turning into straight-up race cars.

I totally HATE reality shows! If some of the crap they show is reality, I want NO part of it whatsoever. It's all ridiculous.

I hate to see anyone die but that shit was NOT street racing! That was straight up Pro-stock crap and did not belong on the street, that should have been on a strip. I've seen the show a couple times and said the same thing every time. Dumbasses are gonna get someone killed!!

I too was a teenager/young man in the 80s and got caught "street racing" a couple times, we were lucky to hit 45-50mph between lights and our 0-60 was more like 10 seconds

I too was very sad when Paul Walker died, not the greatest actor on the planet but he was truly a good person!! Kind of like Keanu Reeves. Humble and awesome dude!!

There is nothing real about reality shows, all made up by the producers. Sucks someone is dead but could of been a lot worse.

I love the show and have been watching street outlaws since it came out. Like anything when you push the limits you take chances those chances equal the rush and equals the love you get from going crazy fast in a sketchy road and to some of us that is living and to some people it’s worth it hell it is just as much of part of racing as a checkered flag period
