Still monitoring the situation with the 23's. At this point all I want is a Redeye narrowbody with a performance spoiler and 3.09 (yes I know the back and forth about it.) Anyone else like low/no option cars? Saves money, a bit less weight. I know some people talk about resale value being quite a bit less. I'm not worried about that. For me it's about performance-period. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I specifically ordered mine as a sveltebody Redeye. I like the sleeper look with the monster engine. All I added was the red interior, HK radio and the granite pocket wheels. The only regret was not getting was the 3.09s, just for bragging rights. But I love the car. Very sleek and not so Kardashian-ish looking.

I wonder if it is a generationally-based, sociological phenomenon. Boomers tend to like the old days when cars (and people) were skinny. Modern generations appreciate a fuller figure in their automotive companions. :p

Not true... If you go to bigger shows such as Carlisle, MOPAR Nationals, MOPARty and such you will see the choice spread across all age types...

You are probably in the minority but so am I - I've got a Sveltebody stripper Redeye on order with 3.09s as the only option. Wish it had a manual but this is the last chance for these massive HP fossil fueled beasts so its time to shit or get off the pot. I'm hoping to be able to keep my M6 Scat Packs so I went with no options (except the 3.09s) and will eventually get the seats reupholstered to something better than the houndstooth crap. Still time to get 22 orders in as far as I know to avoid the unknown nonsense of 23 orders.

I like them all and went back and forth between low options Standard Body to moderately optioned Wide Body. It really came down to availability and what I really felt justified paying for.

This next go around will be no different. If 23s are crazy ADM, I'll either hold my money or get some other fun car

Nope. I'm old and would never go back to a standard body.

It’s my opinion that stripper NB redeye challengers will be the most sought after model aside from an OG demon.
Nah. They'll be more rare but that doesnt always mean sought after. Maybe by a collector but the masses will seek out the WB.

You might not be able to order a Stripper Redeye in 23 if Dodge does all the choosing and allocating like a lot of the banter on here lately is saying/suggesting.

The real question is whether you will be able to order those options without going Jailbreak.

As to wthere you're in the minority, who cares? Are you buying the car for you or for other people?
Every time I'm on the Dodge website the build and price shows less and less available options for the standard Redeye Widebody.
