I'm a long time Dodge owner including a Demon.

I ordered a DDHC, Vin Assigned early and the build went fast! That was then and this is now!

The vehicle is stuck in JB status for over 50 days! It makes no sense!

My guess is this may have been a flooded vehicle and no one is informing me.

Have you tried calling srt at (800) 423-6343? People have reported being able to get help when their car is stuck in a final state for some reason.

I also thought stripes where done at the factory now. 50 days in JB does seem way too long.

Not sure how dodge internals work. I work at Mercedes-Benz, and we have vpc's that install final add-ons for the vehicle. They also inspect the vehicle in order to make any necessary repairs of mistakes made at the factory. So if something was damaged, they could be waiting on a part. Another possibility is, waiting on a release due to epa regs. They may have to wait for epa clearance to release. It goes down to certain criteria for a number per yeah with gas guzzler situations and may have been waiting for this quarter to release to keep numbers in line. Honestly, no one can do anything about a held up customer vehicle except call the facility twice a week.

I just don't get the stripe thing. They don't make the vehicle look better, they are ridiculously overpriced, and apparently cause unending delays. They are the exterior equivalent of the rear entertainment system. 20 year old screens and a Blu-ray player that takes up 2/3 of the center console. Silly.

Curious to which stripe you ordered and wheels? JB is for any body modification and wheels etc.

Sorry, but I love my stripes. Wouldn't give them up. I personally think they make both Challengers and Cargers look better.

Rear dvd for dodge sure, but you have definitely never seen the new higher end dvds that can see the navigation, mirror your phone to the screen, etc etc

Have had rear entertainment in a few 7 series and S classes and it was hands down worth it, Dodge's rear entertainment system sucks though.

Stripes depend on the color for me but they do add pop to some cars.

Not just factory vehicles. Wife wanted the redline stripes on our DDHC we bought off the lot. Got all the stripes a month and a half ago fine via parts. Installer screwed up the hood and it needs to be redone.

But, Been waiting almost a month for a new hood decal from a mopar parts distributor, no ETA in sight.

Not to up your anxiety/frustration, but I surely hope yours wasn't one of the ones sitting in the lot when it flooded a few weeks back.
