He has no case unfortunately, if he’s referring to opening his wallet wider, than he’s talking about ADM’s that have been in place a long time. I have one and laugh at these cry babies. It’s been beat to death on here. He solely won’t get compensation they would put through a class action lawsuit of some kind… and also blah blah blah they’re not numbered and there was no false advertising Stallantis simply found a way to make it pass emissions, Just drive the truck and and shut up (this guy Stacey). What about the people paying the astronomical ADMS for the 23’s ? BTW used 21’s are still being bought for over 100k so this guy doesn’t have a shot in hell.
Here’s a perfect example, this got posted on Facebook and was sold not even a half hour later.

From my point of view I think he has a case. Disclaimer: I do not own the 2021 DHC, I ordered a 2023 DHC.

From Stellantis official press release here:

It clearly stated that "Dodge will build the Durango SRT Hellcat for the 2021 model year only". So the subject of this matter is "Durango SRT Hellcat", no prefix modifier like "2021". Therefore this sentence means there should not be any other model year, except 2021.

Not a Durango owner. Yep they have a case. The lawyers will get 33% and the peasants will split the balance.

The Durango SRT Hellcat, first introduced as a one-year-only model for 2021, storms back to life thanks to enthusiast demand and remains the perfect choice for SUV muscle enthusiasts with families.
“The Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat has generated a crazy amount of enthusiasm and demand since it was introduced in 2020 — we even extended its initial production run — so it seemed appropriate to bring back the most powerful SUV ever as part of our historic 2023 model-year Dodge lineup,” said Tim Kuniskis

Well, if that's the case then every politician should be shitting their pants right now.

I'm not a lawyer but don't feel they will win. They will settle out of court if anything. Lawyers will take majority of settlement and get publicity. Owners will get near nothing. What impact does bringing back the DDHC have on the 21 vehicles? Market will show very little as they are still going near or above market value/MSRP. It will be very difficult to prove the '23s have had an effect on the '21 market. I don't believe they broke any laws skipping a year and then claim they found a way to get around emissions (which is why they claimed a single year originally). It is not as if they claim 710 hp and the motor only produces 500hp. That would be false representation. Many car manufacturers claim get the last generation of a vehicle (Camaro, Blazer, Bronco, etc) and then bring it back years later. That's called marketing. Additionally the 23 MY is technically 'different' so the loophole might be the next generation of vehicle (with updated emissions). So there is that. LOL

Only thing this lawsuit does is make lawyers richer and the average Dodge buyer poorer as Stellantis's loss, if any, will be absorbed by adjusting future MSRP of vehicles they sell. Besides they are making a killing on the 23's so net result will be a profit. This lawsuit is just part of doing business.
