When i placed my order for a 2023 charger hellcat jailbreak i was told there is no sun roof option for this car was anybody else told this ?

My dealer asked me if I wanted it, but I declined. The option is on their order screen, but maybe the factory stopped it??

Parts shortage probably Same happened with the tech package the end of 2022, they took that off the JB options.

I didn't order it for 2 reasons....I'm not crazy about them and it's not a high priority.....2nd, I feel there's a better chance to get built sooner because that is one of the biggest supply issues in the auto industry....

FYI, without a sunroof the sheet metal between the strips very susceptible to dents. Don’t lean on it or ever place anything up there. The weight of an orbital etc. That said, I don’t get sunroofs. Don’t use them. Take up headroom. Don’t care about resale.

Always get sunroofs on all my cars love them and use them a lot…

there was one guy that showed up on Street outlaws with a sunroof. It was hilarious. Ordering a hellcat without a sunroof makes it a very rare car. In my opinion very desirable in the future. Nobody wants an old muscle car with a sunroof. These are performance cars and should be thought of that way. A big hole over your head with a piece of glass in it is not ideal for performance. Sunroof you lose headroom for your helmet also puts the weight of the car in the completely wrong place for racing. Anybody who buys a sunroof is really not serious about racing so it’s a pretty much a stupid debate. Every super stock is fully loaded, they’re never going to be raced. It’s nothing like the original racing days you only order things on the car that make it go faster and dump everything else. The opposite of current buyers. They buy a car with smaller brakes and lighter weight and then add a big subwoofer leather sunroof, power column. Lol hilarious.

To each his own. I use sunroofs in my other cars but I didn’t get one on my hellcat; wanted a more muscle car look and I think tje stripes look better without a sunroof.
No wrong answer.

Don’t get me wrong I think sunroofs are great. Lexus, BMW something like that 👍 . In a Toyota like a Camry or something fine. Makes it feel more open and expensive I get it. But the rule is don’t get a sunroof in a cheap car and don’t get a sunroof in a performance car. Cheap ones leak and nobody wants it used in a real performance car.

If there’s nostalgia drag races at some point in the future. The cars without sunroofs will be the ones they want. with the limited number there is without sunroofs they’re gonna be very rare.
