Hi Everyone, I've been waiting waiting since back during the pre-order days for my Hellcat, trying to get all options, now the only option now is the "sunroof", has anyone heard anything if that will open up for the 2015 model year?, by the way per my dealer,,,,,no additional(new) orders for HellCats are being accepted for 2015

I have no inside knowledge, but I'm thinking they won't be available for this car. Maybe if they didn't have the backlog they have now, but why should they try to re-engineer the car for a sunroof option when they already have more orders than they can fill.

Just my thoughts, as I said, I have ZERO actual knowledge to this issue.

i just looked at a '15 Challenger R/T Scat Pack Coupe,

• VIN: 2C3CDZFJ0FH718548

and the window sticker lists that it has a sunroof at $1195 for the option.

HAVE OTHER TRIM LEVELS OF 2015 CHALLENGER BEEN GETTING SUNROOFS ALL ALONG, OR IS THIS JUST A RECENT THING?

I've never paid attention to the options on R/T's listed because I'm just searching for a Hellcat. would there be any reason that Hellcat sunroofs are any different from other trim levels? higher TQ means more twisting force on the body of the car. if R/T's have been getting sunroofs all along, would this imply that the Hellcat sunroof is somehow different, perhaps more reinforced?

All the other trim levels have had the sunroof.

The sunroof WAS the same as the other, but it seems like there must be an integrity issue with the added horsepower and torque....I'm happy to let them work it out and get it right. I actually don't miss the sunroof like I thought I would...I love driving this car so much I'm glad I dropped the option.

there is a mystery dent issue with 2011-2014 challengers....maybe the sunroof takes away too much structure for the HC

or is it the top speed? (the old sun roof flies off)

The sunroof option has been removed due to them slowly twisting out of place.....due to the incredible torque of these cars.
They may be added as an option in future but dodge will need to add rigidity to the roofs which may add more weight....so who knows if it will be an option on the hellcats

Are you saying it's not an option on the Challenger Hellcat? Or the Charger Hellcat either?

The Charger has more structural rigidity than the Challenger does so that it's not a problem on the Charger.
Yes you can order a Charger with a sunroof.
