Hey guys reaching out to see if anyone else has had a problem like I am having. On my 16 hellcat challenger I keep shredding Gates green blower belt. I have a IW lower along with a 2.65 Griptec upper. You can see from the pics that this belt is on its way out. It has less then 1000 mile on it. The gates belt part number is K100594HD. Could the lower be off? Or the pulley?

Yes something is definitely not lining up the questions is what? I wasn't given any upper pulley spacers with my griptec kit do you guys know if that is an option? Also no adjustment on the IW lower either. However it looks like only the upper pulley and the tensioner pulley is shouldered which makes me think its something up top. The lower does not have shoulders so if it was off it might just run over the edge a bit as opposed toa shoulder which is pulling it forward

The pulley fits between the shoulders on the upper then over time it is pulled forward and wears down until the gap you see starts to get bigger then eventually a total failure. so a spacer to move the pulley forward would work if that's and option.

You can see the belt is too far forward and it's riding on the pulley inner edge instead of the flat part. Move that puppy out about 1/8". First, I'd call Griptec.

Alignment for sure. The belt is not riding correctly on the pulley.

Yeah, it looks like you're just off one rib and too far forward with the belt on the pulley.
