In every instance that I know of, yes. Of course there are exceptions. What if your selling dealer was 3 miles from the Upfitter or last staging location where the cars are shipped from? I bet they would just drive it over there.........Are all the Super Stocks delivered via enclosed trailer to dealership? From factory to dealership?
Not really. While mine was shipped enclosed, it clearly sat outside for quite awhile waiting for shipping.Should show up at dealership clean. I've already instructed dealer to clean car inside or out and not to drive to gas station.
My SS had no stripes, hood pins or sunroof. The wheels were the reason. Per my dealer the 11" wheels get put on at the upfitter. What type of things will be done at upfitter? Stripes? Hood pins?
Good luckShould show up at dealership clean. I've already instructed dealer to clean car inside or out and not to drive to gas station.
I told my dealer the same (do not detail, do not drive to the gas station), they took it straight from the enclosed trailer into a glass room next to the service area and no one touched it. That's how I know it sat out waiting for shipping (it was filthy). Also, the shippers document listing any visible issues at time of pickup noted that they couldn't see any because the car was excessively dirtymine was in the dealer show room, when I found it online...didn't order it.
I drove 3 hrs there to get it.
Only thing I told dealer when I bought it was, Don't detail it and do NOT put gas in it at all unless it is super!
..and then drove it 3 hrs home.....
Yeah mine had some kind of glue residue on the paint in certain spots that I found when detailing it after getting it home..overall during the shipping phase it was treated like a red headed step child but all good now, she just needed a big hug and was glad to be far far away from its abusersI told my dealer the same (do not detail, do not drive to the gas station), they took it straight from the enclosed trailer into a glass room next to the service area and no one touched it. I saw mine just after it got off the truck. I wouldn’t call it filthy but it was dirty.I told my dealer the same (do not detail, do not drive to the gas station), they took it straight from the enclosed trailer into a glass room next to the service area and no one touched it.
