I have a '19 Redeye WB and I was thinking of trading it in for a '21 SS. Now my RE can go up to 202mph, not that Will ever be going that fast, but the SS is limited to only 168mph which I have done before. Is there anyway to remove the 168mph governor on the SS without voiding the warranty?

Honestly, I don't really see the benefit in trading up... I could understand if you had just a Hellcat.... but you already have 98% of the SS now...

Because the dealership is offering me 3k less than what I paid for it 3 years ago and with the 0% for 72 months my payments will go down.

Keep in mind the 168 is also due to the tires. If you go that route just be sure to change them too.

What Frosty said. The SS tires are not rated for the extreme speeds the car can achieve. The SS is set up for drag racing, not top speed.
I understand that it is governed because of the tires, but we should be able to change it. I don't have to run the factory tires on the street, I could always put on some Y or Z rated tires and do some max speed runs.
