Wheel Tire Car Vehicle Sky

If you own a Super Stock (and I believe the Demons have the same dilemma), you know that they come, stock, with an 18" wheel and drag radials. As my daily driver (in Indiana - Winter CAN get dicey here, but usually just colder temps) the drag radials obviously weren't gonna work, so I set out to find some tires with a little more tread on them, and came up empty handed. Long, LONG story, short - the only viable option was a set of these 20" Ferrada FR8s with tires to fit (these may well be the cheapest tire I have ever owned and are DEFINITELY temporary). The ONLY way these (or ANY others that I could find) would fit without rubbing in the back is to use a 1" hubcentric adapter/spacer. I don't intend to be doing any burnouts or crazy driving with these wheels, as I've heard COUNTLESS horror stories about spacers and high powered cars like this that didn't end well. Sadly, at the end of the day, I PAID for a Super Stock that I then spent MORE money on, to essential make it look MORE like the Redeye that ISN'T a Super Stock... As for the RED wheels, it appears as though people either LOVE them or HATE them (and they all REALLY need you to know what they think, lol). For me, I absolutely LOVE the look :)

Exactly why I chose the RE over the SS. Wasnt about to spend that kind of money and then have to run out and spend even more money because DR’s wouldnt be my choice for a daily. I wouldnt be happy using spacers just because I overthink everything. Prob be fine.
But red? Yeah def just a hate thing for me lol. Whatever floats your boat.

I overthink EVERYTHING, but somehow managed to do enough research on the spacers to make myself feel moderately comfortable. The red is definitely one of those "the beauty is in the eye of the beholder" kinda things, lol.

"Spacers", are thin, and only used for certain things, while bolt-on wheel adapters are a different animal. I disagree with the generic theory about "Chinese wheel adapters"........ If people think that Dodge hand-forges all their parts, they are............mistaken? GOOD wheel adapters are used regularly by reputable places. Watch some older episodes of Hot Rod Garage where they use the "the cheapest Chinese stuff they can find", turbos included, and then Tony goes out drifting away and beating them to death! "IF" this stuff was bad, they wouldn't use it and they'd also say something about it.

What brand of adapter did you use?
As long as you are torqued correctly and have stud all the way through the nut, you will be fine.
Lol, I hate the red wheels, reminds me of the z26 berretta.....

I'm not a fan of wheel adapters because of the amount of unstrung weight they add. Had a set on a truck once and was really surprised how heavy they were. I'd have gone with OE widebody takeoffs or wheels made for a widebody that didn't need spacers.
He is only using them for winter

The Z26 pic may have gotten me turned on a bit, maybe even interested in trading my HC for one lol

As for the OP, not a fan of that shade of red but to each their own. As for the spacers, I'm not able to comment as I have no experience with spacers.
