Can the lid be removed without disturbing through bolts?

Looking into re powder coating lid.

What exaxtly do you mean? You have to remove the bolts in the center of the lid cover and around the sides of the lid. thats how you take the lid off. I just did the blower spacers and blanket.

I just don't want to disturb the belts or the blower itself I only want to remove the lid have it powder coated and put it back on. Seems easy enough if that's the case

U can unbolt it you don't have to take the belt off to remove the lid. I didn't. Just undo the bolts and pull the lid. Just don't move the rest of the blower. When taking the lid off the blower may move a little but you will be fine.

Yeah that was my only concern that the tension given by the belt would want to pull the blower down and lift the back of the blower itself.

What you wanna do is undue all the bolts that look like the ones I circled and undue any electrical connectors to pull the lid off.

There are locating dowels so the blower will probably stay put/aligned. There are two dowels on the passenger side. Be careful with the gaskets. I think you can only buy a full set of gaskets for the blower and not individual gaskets.

Also, just pop the belt off the upper pulley, no biggie, if you're concerned about the tension.
