I just lifted mine off, do you even gym bro. Just joking. Lifted by snout to angle it. Slid 2x4 under and muscled it till I could lift it out of the engine bay. Not light for sure.

That's sweet. Haven't seen one of those before but if 2 pop up I'd be interested after Unholy707 gets his. That sucker is heavy and carrying it over the body panels of my car makes me nervous.

yeah you’ve been very helpful with a lot of things! I figured out a way to make one with no welding involved, but will cost just a sour as much as what they’re selling them for ..

Mike, you're the very first person I thought of when the OP said that Gearhead Fabrications was sold out of these. I know if you decide to make one, it will be meticulous and able to stand up to anything! Keep me in mind if you ever decide to make one or ten. Take care!

I have to do rear main seal (again😒), and oil pan gasket (😒). I ordered their gen 3 hemi lift plate so I can lift the block up after I get the trans out so that I can do the oil pan gasket and then saw the lift plate for the supercharger (out of stock) and though man, would be nice to get some more use out of my shop crane

Looks fairly simple to construct, piece of flat cut into triangle, pop holes where needed for attaching, and weld a vertical piece with larger hole for lift hook...anyone with basic fab skills could make in less than an hour.

I can get 1/4” 304 stainless metal off Amazon so I don’t know what the deal is

I gotta get the shop with a laser jet template and he’ll give me a price to cut them out for me, I’ll get a price for 3 and 5 cuts outs then weld them together at work. The lift tab being in a cut through slot and welded from the back side not just welded to the lifting side of the plate. I’ll let you guys know a price once I know.
