So much for sold orders getting taken care of first! All the stories on allocation is B.S. Dodge is only building as they please. They just tell us what we want to here, but no actions follow to show they are implementing anything.

Ironside should email his story to Tim K and ask how things are fixed.

Here is an idea,
Dodge should pull the cars away from dealers if there sitting on the lot as stock units for more than 5 days and give it to people waiting. That would help the overcharging prices too! I am sure they rather give it away at msrp price then risk losing the car.

No, a bank will set up a "floor plan" for dealers. When the car arrives at the dealership, the bank is notified/invoiced by the manufacturer and issues payment to the manufacturer. Then the bank adds the amount to the dealerships' line of credit (floorplan) and it begins accruing interest until it's sold to a customer. Everything is computerized, and the car is removed from inventory when the customer takes delivery and removes it from the dealerships' inventory.
This is why the dealerships are actually Dodge's customers, not us.
Sorry, I was mistaken ---Thanks for clearing that up.
