I apologize if this question has been brought up before but I have a 2019 Challenger HC WB that I factory ordered in 2019. I traded my original factory ordered 2008 Challenger SRT in for the Hellcat. The one thing I missed when ordering the Hellcat was that the car defaulted with cloth seats. My seats are heated and only the drivers seat is powered. It’s the one thing that bothers me with my car as I've seen and sat in other HC’ with the Laguna leather and I liked it allot more. I honestly should have researched the seats more, but I just thought that they defaulted with the suede/leather combo like my 08 challenger, my 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT and my 2021 Trackhawk all came with. I’m sorry for the long explanation, but my question is, if I buy heated, ventilated, powered, laguna leather seats (out of a 2021 Hellcat) will they be plug and play or will I need to have the ECU programmed or anything else done for the seats to function correctly? I appreciate any insight anyone can give me on this. I have a reserve on the laguna leather seats and don’t want to drop the $2000 if all the features won’t work.

Not happening wiring harnesses don't line up. You're going to have a bunch of airbag lights too I got the same exact setup. Maybe better off using Katskinz. I like my cloth seats gives it more of the old school muscle car feel and they are lighter. Doesn't get hot in the summer and they'll last so much longer

No Challenger has a power passenger seat, they are all manual only probably having to do with emergency egress from the rear seat.

And if you would have selected Plus Package, then you would have gotten the Alcantara/Nappa ventilated seats by default, the Laguna would have been another upcharge over Plus.

If it was me I would just get the seats you have covered in the leather of your choice. Can you swap in the factory leather set, probably could but would cost you a ton of money in not only buying the set but buying/switching the wiring harnesses and then spending more coin to get it all to work and then hoping no gremlins show up later on. I would just get them covered.

That's the standard setup when the car is ordered with Driver Convenience Group and Plus Package.

There is also the Alcantara Appearance Package which includes a different alcantara seat, not sure if you have that or not.

The airbag stuff should still work, no lights. The drivers side power seat will work. The heated seats might work and the vented seat feature might work but likely not. Your car now has a manual steerring column? If power then it still should work. So, the overall answer is that the features in the 21 Hellcat seats will likely not all work and they possibly could never be made to work without programming and a new wiring harness ( a major job).

Have your seats reupholstered in a quality leather or Katskins it’ll probably end up being more durable and better than the Laguna leather. Do research on Laguna leather there’s people not happy with it. Plus maybe you can add a logo or a color stitching to make it look super cool and comfortable.

I don’t have that package. I have the leather wrapped steering not the alcantara one.

OP: i purchased a new 2021 HCWB challenger with cloth seats. Found a 2017+ set of Napa/Swede balck seats on Ebay and picked them up. The ebay seats are heated and cooled, but my car only came with heated. It was direct plug and play and the heated seats work just as factory. If you want cooled option, get a Tazer and program it.
