This one doesn't have the heat extractors in the hood on the Charger like the Super Bee Charger. It's a F8 or Sublime Charger Scatt Pack or Challenger Shaker with the options chosen for you. Where the Super Bee seemed to have some mechanical improvements the Swingers don't appear to be anything but aesthetics. The further we get the more I'm convinced the SEMA car is a RE with a 2.9L SC instead of a 2.7L SC, like that's the only major change.

Hmnnnn …. I guess I don’t find this reveal that interesting. Changing stickers doesn’t really seem like a worthwhile limited edition. I suppose it is a good way for Dodge to get rid of all the surplus parts without any real changes. Not that I would expect much in the last year of production. I really hope the SEMa car is a jaw dropper. I wonder if it will be billed a JB, RE or SS. I think an 807 with an E85 tune ability over 840 would be awesome. Not sure if it could get Cali compliant though

Yeah it’s not my cup of tea either. I or my wife wouldn’t be thrilled with swinger written on my car.
THIS. That may have flown in the 70's but anyone with that on their car now is going to get roasted lol.

Yeah that's really how it will go, I'd be afraid to pull up to work with a "swinger" car. "Hey look guys, the swinger is pulling up, hide your wives!"

There was a guy at work with a mustang that had a rear bumper on it that said "stalker" . He was roasted for that even! lol

It’s pretty damn funny if you ask me. But I’m thinking this might be the special edition that sits on lots and maybe later there are actually some deals on. All you gotta do is grease up your hair and buy some gold chains to go with it. Where’s the plaid interior and the walnut wood grain dash pieces though? Funny, but swing and a miss.

So, is this all about selling SP's for HC prices? I considered a SP in 20 before the HC, it was $35k stripped vs the HC at $55k stripped.
Seems that way. Thing is though that I or any of my friends are not too interested in these “reveals”. I’m certainly not going to over pay for anything Ive seen yet. Hope SEMA brings something exciting to the table. I would like to think that consumers of these cars, in an iffy at best economy, will not line up to get gouged by dealers

Ever hear of a thing called "Power Dollars"? Hope you ain't calling me a liar.
Power dollars weren't part of the price. Those were rebates/dealer cash. Those fluctuated on and off for a few model years. But the SPs were never that cheap MSRP. Ever. Im not calling you a liar god forbid your fragile ego takes a hit from an anonymous internet person. I never said you couldn't get one for that, I said they were never priced that low, and Im correct.

Good try backpedaling. You read my post and know what I said, if you forget here it is:

I make mistakes, and obviously so do you, the difference is that I confront the facts and admit when I made a mistake. You should try it, it is much better than pursuing a losing argument.

You have been such a good guy so far.

Your attempt to make me wrong in some way is off track. You quoted your own vague post saying you could get an SP for $35k in which you made NO mention of power dollars, rebates, dealer cash, discounts to invoice or below. So I ask you, how should I have taken your generic post other than you referring to getting a stripped SP for $35k? I as most would guess or assume you meant selling price or sticker or MSRP or how ever you want to phrase it.

So I point this back to you, maybe you can take your own advice and own your first post. The one where you insinuate that SPs were available at $35k with no mention of discounts or rebates, in which they absolutely were not.
