I agree with your thoughts 100%. If the 10%+ rule was in effect, approximately 200 cars would have already been built. Being 4th or 5th at the dealership where my order is (with the first not being in D/D1 status yet), I don't see getting a 2015 HC. I just wish we could get a straight answer on the allocation for dealerships up here.

What is your dealer saying?
I do not understand why all the secrecy and lack of info from Regional reps to the dealers
If I ran my business like that, I would be out of business!
After 6 months, it is a really kick in the nutz, not to have any info.

The dealer says, "we know when a car is being built when they tell us, not before". As I said, first order of 10 made is in "D1" supposedly. No indication when it's "scheduled" to be built (which allocation period), and therefore no way to tell when/if my order may be picked up

I am hearing the same thing from my dealer as well. no news, .He is going to try and get some more info tomorrow

Some dealers are certainly creating a giant slew of frustrated customers who will go where they are treated fairly and not misled. Alright if you can't get me the damn car and don't have an allocation then tell me straight out.....sorry sir we can not take your deposit because we can not guarantee you a car, but no you have to take my money and let me sit thinking your gonna get me one and waste my time! #*?//#$* sit on my money until I realize wait something is wrong here? So you look into it further and pretty soon you join this site and realize huh I need a Von whats that? and D1 status whats that? Can I get a Vin # before the car is even built? What guarantee do I have I can get one? Maybe I should put multiple deposits in at more than one dealer....will that better my chances of getting one? not fn likely if they don't sell enough cars to get an allocation? Huh well how the #*//#*%^ am I supposed to know that? .....there see now I feel better I smashed my fn keyboard

Cars for Canadian orders are being scheduled randomly by Dodge, the dealers have no say in it and have no info until they are told their order is being built.There is no guarantee when you will get your car, other than it will be built.We are not on allocations like USA.
Many cars will not get built until 2016 due to overwhelming Canadian orders. Therefore do not plan on a car any time soon and if you get one sooner than later be thankful
