Last Saturday we were going to the cruise-in and while sitting at the traffic light, the CAT started to sputter. We made haste to get home, luckily, we were only a mile away. Later, the CAT popped a code P0306 and had a flashing engine light. The CAT was hauled to the local Dodge dealer. The bad news, busted rocker arm and bent rod on #6 cylinder. The SRT technician repaired the problem and buttoned up the motor, but still running rough. Thursday will be another day in the hospital for the CAT. The CAT just turned 500 miles and it was babied. My wife said the problem was, the CAT should have been "run" instead of babied, she might be right. I hope this is not another problem for the Hellcats!

So was it a bent push rod or a bent connecting rod? I assume pushrod since you got it back so soon.. A connecting rod would be a new motor!

The "CAT" is home from the hospital. It was serious, broken exhaust rocker arm and bent intake push rod. Then the SRT tech the found a failed coil pack and cam sensor. We had to drive the "CAT" this evening and all is well. Orange Park Dodge here in Florida was excellent. They had the parts in stock and the "CAT" was fixed quickly! Now, it's time to "run" this "CAT"
