Got the call/email this afternoon that the Hellcat has landed at the dealer and will be ready for pickup tonight.

We are happy to say that just over 8 months of waiting things are coming together.
Sublime A8, Sepia interior, Brass Monkeys, Nav, Summer Tires

We would like to thank our friends at Safford Warrenton, Jeff D @ SRT, and RS for their help and information throughout the last many months.

Pics, thoughts and more details on the experience later tonight or tomorrow. (2nd post reserved for pics)

Heading out in 1 hour for pickup.....

Just got home and parked the cat in the garage.

MSRP deal, Safford Warrenton was great to deal with. Got the 7 year extended warranty w/rim & tire protection.

35 mile return trip, stopped to see some car friends along the way. Black key cruisin' no issues to report. Double-clamped hose and temps were normal. It was dark so I didn't want to play around too much with all the settings etc. Will have to spend a lot of time in the daylight to setup the stereo and register the Uconnect stuff.

The interior is a drastic improvement/change over the 2011 IE. The 8.4 system appears light-years ahead of the 430N. The sepia interior really is nice on the sublime. Soft, comfortable.... The seat recliner lever was hard to find while driving, but its all good now. Did I mention the Brass Monkeys look awesome too!!!

So the power.... Our 2 previous garage queens were the 2011 IE and a 99 Lightning with a 3.4 whipple on top (625 rwhp around town). The Hellcat feels like a nice strong twinscrew setup and reminds us just how fast you can get going without noticing. If you have never driven a setup like this, be mindful of the speed limits because you will exceed them without effort. The 8 speed auto is quick and smooth. The feel is different than the 4 & 5 speeds previously. We plan to get some break-in mileage on it and learn about the new setup.

Our immediate goal is to clay it, clean it up and get some NXT on there to shine it up. I guess I have weekend plans now.....

Has the excitement of today erased 8 months of sheer madness...... It's the right start......

Pics and more to come tomorrow.... I'm beat......

Congrats! Very exciting moment when you see our Hellbaby for the first time. Mine happened to be on the freeway on the truck driving to the dealers! Very cool!

Thanks.... Its been really fun to get back out and cruise around town today. Wife took it out for a drive as well.

Pics added above....^^^

We are really liking the brass monkey and Sepia.... If there is something great about waiting 8 months, its that combination.

Bolivar, its like twins!!! Both are beautiful!!

Day 3 - Dealer survey completed, Style survey completed. Continue to do some in-town driving to get some miles on it (54 as of tonight). Gonna drive it to work tomorrow to get to 100 miles and show it off a bit. Gonna park it in the large corner spot where a Camaro SS typically parks.

Took a friend for a quick ride today. He left all giggly. He is shopping between a Scat Pack and SRT.

To celebrate at work they had everyone wear a green shirt and we split a huge green frosted cookie that said "Hellcat". LOL. Work is definitely celebrating through my eyes. Tomorrow will be the unveiling to most of the work folks.

Planning to mess with the dash configuration on Friday and update my car care basket with fresh wax, cleaner and rags of all kinds.

Also planning the driveshaft purchase, like to be a bit preventative in this area. Trying to decide between Carbon Fiber and Aluminum.

Trying to finalize personalized tags and get them reserved. While its not for me, how bout EAT-P85D

Enjoying it more every day.....

Nice pix and thoughtful write up. What a rush...yes? The Sublime, Sepia and BMR's are a stunning combo. Really nice. Now you get to sit in the car and mess with all the settings and features. Plates...how about LIME CAT?...lol Congrats on a great lifetime event!!
