Loving the car, long wait but definitely worth it. There are definitely differences between this 2021 car and my 2019 redeye. Biggest difference is the way the transmission shifts. Redeye always had a glitch shift from 2nd to 3rd on a high traction surface and so far the superstock has not shifted like that at all. The track setting on superstock has massive weight transfer compared to redeye. Cruising around town superstock rides smoother than redeye. Cruising down highway I'd say redeye tracked a little better. Power delivery is very close but for some reason the superstock feels a little stronger and the super charger sounds louder. Couple days ago I saw 15lbs boost on the dash and I never remember hitting 15 in redeye when it was stock. I'm extremely impressed with the paint on this car. Best dodge paint job I've owned. I painted cars for a living and this is incredible quality for a production paint job.

First of all Congrats! And I agree on most every point you made. The tranny is much smoother without falling on its face between the 1-2, and the 2-3 shifts like the redeye was. And it may be a coincidence, but my paint job is worlds better on my 21 SS, compared to my 20 redeye paint job. I love the way it just hooks and goes instead of always just blowing the tires off every time you kick it. Wait till you get it broken in good. It really runs stronger after you get about 2,500 mile on it and everything settles in. I used to say (like others will) that after the 500 break in miles thats all you get. Wrong... mine feels much stronger now with 4,000 mile on the clock. Enjoy.

Oh I know. My TRX has 12k on the clock and I'd bet money that thing is up 50hp compared to when it had 1000 miles. Actually stunning.

So what are the stories on the fox body and Camaro in the garage as well? I am a Chevy guy but not impressed with GM since mid 2000s. I recently sold my 03 Lightning. Have a 67 Chevelle SS and am selling a 92 Summer Edition fox body with 3000 miles on it here soon at BJ.

The camaro was my late wife's car I built for her. Really nice z28 clone with a 550 hp sb406. I was converting it to 4 wheel disk and my wife passed away and the car hasn't moved since 2016. It's time to get it back on the road though. The foxbody was a life long dream to build a true 8 second street car that could be driven anywhere with all factory options and full interior. It's probably one of the cleanest foxbody mustangs on the west coast. 70k original miles. Has ran a best of [email protected] on a 275 radial at 3600lbs race weight. 347 dart 29lbs boost ysi blower on c16 fuel. Did everything on car myself including building the engine, transmission and paint. Only thing I didn't do was the chromoly cage.
