I don't understand the six months statement. If you order a JB from dealer that does not receive allocation then the number of months is infinite - as in you will not receive a car. And furthermore, if you ordered a 22 and it does not get built you don't get switched to a newer model - you get dropped and go to the back of the line to place an order for a 23. If this fellow read the forum he would know that hundreds if not thousands of customers are and will continue to have orders cancelled for WB and JB cars. He keeps mentioning RE's taking six months - not so sure that applies to NB cars - those are not the orders being refused. This fellow might know less than me - and I thought that was impossible.
I had a Supplier ask to provide us a presentation. When I saw who was on the Supplier's list of participants, I knew this would be a sales pitch and told my team as much.
It was a sales pitch for a 10 year obligation for a platform which will sunset in 5 years.
Of the 8 people on my side in the meeting, 1 bought pitch hook line and sinker. She also presented the pitch to our Exec Management.
She, like some "buyers" here, are the perfect candidate for a Jailbreak deposit/promised sale.
