As if we don't have enough to worry about........another method that thieves are using to target our cars.

an air tag has a 800ft range, not miles
800 ft range to the nearest iPhone (any iPhone) to connect to the national network!

Works both ways. I keep one hidden in my Hellcat just in case it goes missing one day.

If you haven't put a hidden ignition kill switch in your Cat you are rolling the dice every time you leave it parked anywhere unsecured. period. Look at Copart or any auction site and you will find dozens of stripped hellcat frames for sale. It is sad to say but every cat has a huge target on it.

Local dealership had 2 Hellcat stolen this week
2 men came into the dealership asked to look at both Redeyes out front. Salesman goes out with them. They looked at it not driving them.
They returned the keys and left.
After the dealership closed they returned cut the chain on the gates and drove away.
Now how did they do that? Easy. The switched the key fobs. Gave the dealership a different key fob took the originals.

If I ever found one on my HCWB I'd have to take it off and put it on a Chevy Sonic or something parked across the street, just to see the look on the thief's face when they find their "hellcat"...
Put it on an FBI vehicle. You bet they will find whoever owns it. Put it in the gas cap door area. :D

Remember not to leave any fingerprints or DNA. No drooling on the glass or anything.
