You will without a doubt miss that car. I was in the same boat. Bought an older Silverado 2500HD and went through it. Now it's a reliable comfortable 4x4 for inclement weather and I have the best of both worlds.
Do this.

I wouldn’t dream of doing that. A SS might be worth $150-160 in a few years. Money aside, I’d agree with other dude. Garb an older truck. I have a 2010 (pre-def) Ram 3500 was only like $34K. I feel for you though and hope you get to keep both! If that’s yours in your profile pic, Sinnamon’s are rare already. Think there’s like 10 ‘21’s I saw somewhere.

I know this is off the wall, but I am thinking of going back to lifted 2022 F250 Truck. Ideally, I'd keep both but because of recent developments, I can't pull that off. Tough choices, but living in Ohio, I can't drive the SS year round, and will enjoy the F250 365.
Ur right it is off the wall my man

Maybe it is for the best.
Someone will actually love that car and keep it forever.
Enjoy your f250 lol
Glad you came to your senses (y)

Sounds like a good move.
Hopefully you can get close to 5-8k under Msrp for the SS on trade or open market.
I would definitely dump it now before the bottom falls

That’s crazy, no pick up truck is worth any hellcat , not even the TRX and I really like that truck. I live in Buffalo so I understand bad weather and the winter car summer car thing , grew up here two more years and south bound for me.
I’m on the opposite side of the argument here. I liked my Challenger Hellcat, but got tired of watching it sit in a garage for 6 months. I love my TRX. I wouldn’t trade it for two Hellcat Challengers.

Loving the car isn't the issue, it's being able to love it when it sits for 6 months.
Being able to buy Toys is fun, but at the same time, I don't have an unlimited Toy fund. I'm keeping my SS, despite being offered $10k over my 2021 sticker. I'll figure out the truck piece in the fall. Agree with 04Ram2500, it sucks being in the NE's garbage weather.

First: Not sure how HC owners survive without a beater, and no better beater than a truck!

OP: Keep the SS!!! Get a beater.

Second: Koons 6% off Rams really caught my eye. I’m old and my next truck is my last, and they won’t be making V8’s much longer… But my ’03 Silverado I bought new, now 140k is still 100% except for some minor dings. Difficult decision…

There a TRX for sale here in OK brand new sitting on the lot. $99k in blue. Need to go test drive it for fun.

On you post, I last fall sold my newer GMC and got a 2001 Chevy 3500 Duramax for 1/4 of the price. It’s rough around the edges but overall a good truck and I still have the HC for those nice days.

One thing to think about, if you order a new F250, you could possibly waiting up to a year to get it. I have one myself (2019) and am an active member on a Ford forum. Some guys are waiting 8-12 months for a truck to be built. My son also works at the truck plant where they are built, he's had ALOT of time off this year due to parts shortages. I love a Ford truck, but don't know if I'd wait that long.

I wouldn't trade mine for a truck. But I might for a house. Looking to buy my first house in about another year. Saving like crazy to cover 20% down and closing costs. Selling my Hellcat will be my last resort and I'll consider other options like lowering my down payment to 15%. I would love to realize both dreams (house and Hellcat), but securing my home for retirement is the bigger pull.
