Regardless of which side of this argument you are on, the the real issue here is that each person has their own taste and preference. I have left mine on my Redeye because I like the small accent of color. The argument is a mute point. If you leave them on, they will cause damage eventually. If you take them off, you will get damage eventually. I am tired of hearing this debate. How did we regress from being a tolerant society that is accepting of peoples choices to ridiculing each other if we do not agree on something. You don't like that I chose to leave them on my car? That's fine. You have your own car to do with as you please. It does not give anyone the right to criticize or degrade someone else's choices. Interestingly enough, not one single person has had the testicular fortitude to say anything in person. The internet allows people to act much tougher than they really are. We should make it legal to challenge someone to a duel again. I bet that would make people more hesitant to make offensive remarks.

Very famous scat pack in my area, black with those yellow splitter guards. I always see this guy blasting around downtown and flooring it at every opportunity he gets.

Everytime I see these yellow splitter guards on our cars, I associate it with harleys riders with those obnoxiously loud exhaust screaming "look at me!!!"

Where do you live? Ill tell you they damage the top part of the spoiler you can see, yet protect the part you can't see. But you already know this. Does telling you in real life lend more credence? Just curious.

MUCH less "damage" than I expected. Fifteen minutes and you would barely see it.

Mine are staying on because them being there pisses some people off!
Honestly, I would be more ashamed admitting that I liked Destroyer Gray or F8. No offense, but I really think those colors need to be GONE!

This is why I removed mine and added scrape guard to my bumper. Expensive but worth it to me.
