I don't want this to turn into a manual vs auto thread. I love both and both have pros and cons. My dedicated drag cars have been autos. My previous Challenger was a 6 speed and I really, really enjoyed it. However, like so many of you, I was impressed by the A8. My brother and my friend both have A8 Hellcats. I was really on the fence and actually ordered an auto. However, while waiting for my VIN number, a reasonable deal fell into my lap for a Bright White manual Hellcat. I jumped on it and it's now in my garage. I have to say that the first time I shifted into 2nd I was hooked. I felt connected to the car. I know that the autos will get me at the drag strip most every time but the the rest of the 99% of the time I drive the car is pure joy!

I have the 6m...more fun to me..I may drag race it a few times. .but on the street 6 spd is the best for me
