I spoke to the head of Hennessy PR last Saturday after sitting in the coupe version of the F5- its very well built.
They have had the roadster to 270, the coupe will break 305, on non bead locked wheels (Bugattis has special wheels and tires)……
That’s no small feat- I haven’t seen much else other that Top fuel or funny cars pushing beyond 300
I have friends with Konieseggs adn Pagani’s, and the fastest any of them have hit is 277 (the one that has a Jesko)

The car fails to actually stand out from an aesthetic perspective. It looks like the bastard child of a Corvette-on-Ferrari rape.
From the supposed top speed, I'm guessing the horsepower is around 2000? I confess to not reading about or even looking into it. It's just a bad shape, aerodynamically.
If that thing goes "300mph" I want to see it on a dynamometer.

I watched video of the 270+ run and they have that much to go.
Bugatti does it with 1500lbs more mass, and less power…….270 that is

Meanwhile Tim K has two mice running on a Ferris Wheel for a engine slow putting around in a hollow fake car that has no working windows nor no specs just a prop
Anyone infatuated with or talking up John Hennessy either has no clue or just enjoys sitting on his flag pole.

I had a CTSV (V2) they built and it was a great car, the fit/finish/performance was as promised. I can speak from experience.

You have a pretty uninformed opinion, and you are welcome to it.
I’ve built many cars, bought several too, met a lot of interesting “car guys” through the years. I’ve owned over 100 cars.
yep, I’ve swiped a card and said “buy it now” and I have the ability to do it easily, sorry if you can’t (but I wont assume you can’t, unlike you)- I just have a lifestyle that allows me to decide what I want and how fast I want it done, and I don’t shit on others for their means and choice that they make to arrive where they wish.
In reality, I shared and actual experience, you shared what the internet told you- so there is that.

Most can build a car ourselves. But there’s an entire industry revolving around building cars for people that aren’t intelligent enough to build it themselves, so there’s that.
You were blowing tim k and dodge in other threads, why the change of heart now?

Actual experience gives me real time knowledge, never claimed to be an expert Einstein, I just have real time knowledge.
I have the intelligence, income and opportunity to have the choice of building my car or having someone do it, the ignorance of your comment state it all.
I sure hope you demonstrate more thought process in real life, you certainly have been found lacking here.
