Hello from the research I have done it looks like nitto nt555r2 are a good option for more grip for a daily driver. I will be driving if it rains as well but of course not fast. Are these the best drag tire compromise between dry performance and daily driving? Would I need an upgraded driveshaft or diff brace?

Thanks.

If you are planning to daily drive it (including wet weather), go for Michelins PS4S. Compared to Nittos you will get 90% of the grip, better ride, handling, and durability, and they are safe when it rains. Thinking that "I'm going to drive slow if it rains" is a mistake: what if someone cuts you off, and you don't have traction to swerve/stop?

I hear you I feel like if I go with the ps4s I mines well get the ps all eason 4 and be done with it for all year round. I would change the drags out for the winter. I drive in eco mode and chill in the rain regardless I expect any tire to spin in wet weather with rear wheel drive and all this power. In both my scats when it rained eco mode on to start in second gear and I just cruised around instead of fun driving. These nt555r specifically mention wet traction as an upgrade with those tires thats why I would even consider them. The size would be either 305 or 315 35 20 to match the factory look and size. I would have to contact my dodge dealer to see if it would void the warranty. Dodge customer service told me that.

For the street you don't really need to upgrade the drivetrain or install a diff brace. Racing on a prepped surface is an entirely different story though.

All seasons and PS4S are completely different animals.

PS4S is in a class of its own.

You want to read in this forum about matching 305 or 315 to factory rims (they don't match well), the potential fitment issues, and the warranty concerns. There is a lot here and you want to know all that before you spend your money.

The easiest and the most rational way to go would be getting PS4S in the stock size (275/40) for summer, and swapping them for whatever winter tire you like for winter.

Ok thanks for all the info. I won't be going to the track at all most likely so thats good to know. It's the widebody so it will come with the factory 11 inch rim with 305s. I just got off the phone with dealer the rep said drag radials will void if anything breaks. Either swap them out before you go to the dealer or get a regular sticky tire. I'm assuming that's the ps4s. Thanks for the info guys have a great day!

I just put 2 ps4s on the rear of my Redeye.
one of the best moves I made for the street side of the car. I still have my slicks for for showout times but these tires really do perform. I went with the 345s.
good luck in you quest.
