If it is wearing in a fashion that has the outside more worn than the inside, it is definitely not from long highway miles of straight-line driving, assuming you have no settings in the suspension anything other than stock, as the cars have a bit of negative camber as they sit.
It does seem like a substantial amount of hard cornering would wear the outside edges more, though.
