I have a '19 Charger SP and have been toying with the idea of running a staggered summer wheel setup with 9.5" up front and 10.5"/11" in the rear. Then I would have my OEM 9.5" wheels for winters. I have been seeing a lot of OEM sets come up for sale that are 9.5" which has me questioning if going wider on the rear is really worth it. I don't race or anything, just daily driving spiritedly haha my question is, are 275s enough if the tires are good summers or are 305s that much of an upgrade? Basically a square 9.5" wheel setup with 275 summers vs. staggered 9.5"/10.5" wheel setup with 275/305 summers. Thanks in advance!

Compound > width. Ideally you would address both.
Fair enough, that is sort of what I figured. It just sucks when there's nice set of OEMs for sale that are all 9.5" haha

That's interesting, I wouldn't have thought about that. Even if you change the wheels with OEMs? And tires as in anything other than PZeros will void the warranty too? I only have a year left on mine anyway so getting close to the end

Have you checked Tire Rack and Discount Tire for advice? Secondly, while 305s are the easy choice, they are NOT XL rated and NOT the same tire diameter. I took the plunge and did 315s back.
I have been looking researching for a while now it feels lol but it seems like everyone just goes wider as opposed to staying square. Yes, you're right, I would probably go 315s as well since they are the same height as the 275s. Not that the 305s are all that much shorter, it would really only affect the speedo by a small fraction.

maybe if you put 17" beadlocks and full slicks.... DOT tires and a different wheel aren't going to void your warranty.
