Hey guys! Just seeing if anyone uses the OEM rims with any street tires? I just wanted to get some recommendations. My factory Nitto drag radials are just about done and I wanted something for the streets. I mainly use my demon for weekend driving. A few taps for fun on the highway.

Nitto 555RIIs are great tires - have them on my Redeye. Not bad in the rain either . They hook up in 2nd gear . I love them.

Conti. Extreme Contact Sports for me. Great street tire for some aggressive driving and decent wear to boot. 285/35’s fit nicely on a 9.5” wheel.

Good luck finding any tires right now in 315 40 18. Nitto makes 3 tires in that size and all of them seem to be out of stock for several months now....and Nitto is really your only option for that size tire.

So to answer the original question, the only real street tires (not drag radials) I'm aware of in the stock size are Nitto NT555 G2 but they have been on national backorder for months.

Good luck with that. My Discount Tire told me that 3 months ago. The DT representative here on this site has been monitoring them for me for availability as well.

I'm looking into the G2 in 295/40 & 295/45 for use on the front only on my SS. They both appear to be available. Fwiw.
