Guess what I picked up today.....

I have to say that this the most excited I have ever been about any vehicle. I think that I got congratulated by everyone in the dealership, including the janitor. The car looked absolutely amazing when they finished getting it prepped. No paint issues.

My sales rep and I took the car for a spin and all I could mutter was WHOA! The power on tap with this thing can't be described. Words don't do it justice. The throttle response is immediate and plentiful. If someone saw us out there and didn't know what car it was had to be thinking, "why are those two idiots smiling so hard?" Everyone out there who said that all of the worry and irritation involved with buying one of these beasts would leave after the first drive was absolutely right!

I managed to get out of the dealership early enough to pick my daughter up from school and show off the new wheels. She fell in love with the car instantly.

If there was one word to sum up these cars, it would be EPIC!!!

No, it's just the standard size sunroof. It blends in because I had the painted black roof option.

Very nice car,, back when I picked up my car I was angry everyday,, very short temper ,I told everyone I'm never ordering any more cars,, but as soon as I seen my car, and started it,, the months before never entered my mind..congrats on the beautiful car...B5 is going to love it

My dealer has a B5 Charger with the black hood...sold order...coming in around mid month May. I am going to try and take some pix if the timing works out.

So far I've seen both the black hood and the black roof on a Charger Hellcat, but of the two, I'd prefer the black roof if I had to choose.

The funny thing is that the color choice was totally luck of the draw for me. When I went to put my deposit down, they asked me if I had a color preference. I told them that it didn't matter much to me. I just said that whatever they ordered was mine! This was actually their first Hellcat Charger order and I think they knocked it out of the park.

Wow, that was a ballsy move - letting the dealer decide which color car you get. My hat goes off to you my friend. I don't think I'd be willing to do that. Especially when I'd have to live with someone else's choice for the time i own the car... I'd always think "what if i chose _____ instead?"

One good thing is that there isn't really a bad color choice in the bunch. That's the reason that I didn't sweat it to much.

Come the fall when 2016 order banks open up, I'll have to make up my mind on a color. I just pray that I make the right decision with those added color choices. They say you can't go wrong with black, but 90% of my cars were all black. Guess we'll see when the time comes, and what colors are available.
