Entered into the 10.00 index class at the Modern Hemi Shootout hosted by MIR. Honestly didn’t expect to get past round 1 of eliminations. Next thing I know is I won it all.

It was a great experience, learned a lot and I’m glad I brought a W home for the Hellcats. Beat out a very fast Wk2 and a Demon. The MSHS team was great and met a lot of awesome people. Wanted to share a collection of the runs and timeslips with you, enjoy!

If both cars break out, the one closer to the dial-in time wins, same if both red light, if only one car red lights THEY LOOSE, no matter what they're time is.

So, yes. a 10.01 will beat a 10.02, but both cars are run as close to 10.0 as they can get without going under it.
Note: I KNOW that if the 10.01 car leaves 0.1 sec AFTER the 10.02 car, it will arrive last and lose the race, but the point is, consistency is your friend in indexed classes, which means the prowesss of the car is largely irrelevant, but the consistency of the operator is paramount.

Reaction time on the tree is also Huge in bracket racing, the closer you are to a 0.00 tree the larger your advantage over the other guy, but jump the light and you Red light and loose, that's where the drivers skill and experience comes into play.

This is actual real racing and not all that roll racing crap that's all the rage with the kiddies these days.

3. If both red light then the least offensive red light wins.
4. If everything else is normal its comparison

The package is (ET - Dial In) + Reaction time. Here is my winning time slip:

My package is .369 vs .407, if you look at the bottom it says .0386 which is the difference between the two numbers.

I was unable to attend due to my business is very busy. My daughter Kate was there. She had the Furious Fuchsia Challenger and run is the 11.50 class + Bracket.

MIR Is my most favorite Track. I have a lot of good memories there. All the track employees are the Nicest people and many remember Kate and I. The Track itself is always The Best!
Back in 2019 Both Josh and I took 1st place Mine also was for the 10.0index. I really miss racing and hope to be more active soon!
