The youngest, unsolicited, said something to the tune of "Dad, when he goes fast, a smile just comes on my face." It was so adorable to hear a female who was too young to be guileful speak of the spontaneous joy that occurs with going fast, with the "spontaneous smile" that I don't think she'd ever experienced or noted. I was hoping they would all have some fun. She was remarking on the experience in an almost third-person sort of a way, like she did not expect it. I told the girls that for women, that never goes away as they get older.
At first they were kind of intimidated by it, but now the kids like it. The dad was amazed at the braking prowess. I told him that the brakes were even better than the engine, and I had not even used full braking.
He usually drives a limo around (bought a cheap one) so he was not used to the "hole in traffic creation" ability of the Hellcat. I used to have to plan traffic lights well to see if I could get ahead of someone to get around a parked car in the curb lane.
